Shane Kepley is currently servings as the President of our student chapter.  He is a doctoral candidate in the FAU Charles E. Schmidt College of Science, pursuing his PhD in Mathematical Sciences. He earned his B.S. degree from Florida Atlantic University in 1 1/2 years and his master's degree along the way in Mathematical Sciences.  As a PhD student, Shane is a Graduate Teaching Assistant and is an active member of the Florida National Guard.  Shane also served four years as a paratrooper in the U.S. Army.

Andrew Thomack Serving as the Vice President, Andrew Thomack is a Ph. D. Candidate in Mathematics. He received his Bachelors degree from Greenville College in 2007 and worked for five years in spectroscopy for a private company. He now studies random polynomials under the advisement of Dr. Erik Lundberg, as well as studying validated numerics, and any other problems concerning analysis which peak his interest.

The Student Chapter Secretary is Sher Chhetri. He received his Bachelors degree and Masters degree from Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu, Nepal. He has joined FAU in 2013 to pursue his Ph.D. He now studies parameter estimation of nonlinear stochastic differential equations under the supervision of Dr. Hongwei Long. Sher has also been working on statistical distributions, their mathematical properties and applications. He has more than one decade of teaching experience from Pre-K to university level mathematics courses.
Prior to attending FAU, he was co-author of several K-12 textbooks.

Anae Myers is currently serving as the Treasurer of our student chapter. She is a Ph.D. student in Mathematics at FAU. She graduated with a B.A. in Mathematics from FAU in 2012 and began her career as an actuary at the National Council of Compensation of Insurance.  While she enjoyed working in the actuarial field, her curiosity and interest in mathematics brought her back to FAU. She completed all requirements for Associateship in the Casualty Actuary Society and was admitted to membership as an Associate of the Casualty Actuary Society (ACAS) prior to returning to FAU as a graduate teaching assistant in 2015.
