Theme: Changing with Technology in Statistical Education

The statistics workshop is to integrate with the 2016 eCOTS theme of “Changing with Technology”. The workshop will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 on the Boca Raton campus at Florida Atlantic University.

The objectives of the workshop are to disseminate and survey new statistical ideas and tools in responding to the change with technology, to help bring existing ideas to fruition, and to provide a forum for teachers, graduate and undergraduate students from universities, colleges, as well as teachers from high schools from South Florida, to build local statistics education community, to learn from and engage with each other. The key activities will feature on one keynote speaker, educational workshops, hands-on practice, and circles of discussions and communications.

Registration: The registration for the workshop is included free if you sign up for 2016 eCOTS via https://www.causeweb.org/cause/ecots/ecots16/register .
