Faculty and Students of Statistics!

The 2026 Annual American Statistical Association Florida Chapter Meeting is at FIU in March!

The FIU Department of Biostatistics and Department of Mathematics and Statistics will host the 2026 Annual ASA Florida Chapter Meeting on March 6-7, 2026.

The days' events will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and feature keynote speakers, presentations and student competitions.

Criteria: Mathematics majors in the junior or senior year who have demonstrated strong academic performance and sharing Julio Bastida's passion for the liberal arts.

Criteria: Mathematics majors in the junior or senior year with a 3.5 GPA. A qualified applicant must be Asian and have demonstrated active involvement in promoting Asian culture and education, demonstrate financial need, and be a full-time student.
