President: Mr. Matthew Trang

Bio:  Matthew Trang graduated from Kyushu University, Japan, with a Master's degree in Mathematics and now he is pursuing his Ph. D. at Florida Atlantic University. He specializes in the applied aspects of commutative algebra, algebraic topology, and algebraic geometry. His current focus is on studying combinatorial neural codes and their algebraic properties. Besides, he is also interested in finding applications of algebra and/or topological data analysis in bio-math problems.

She received her B.S. in Mathematical Sciences at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, and is now pursuing her Ph.D. at FAU with an emphasis on Applied Algebra.  Sulani is a member of the Association of Women in Mathematics (AWM) and of the American Mathematical Society (AMS) at FAU. In her free time, Sulani enjoys playing indoor and outdoor games.

Dr. Francis Motta is a mathematician specializing in topological data analysis (TDA), dynamical systems, and mathematical biology.
