Research

My research focuses on mathematical foundations, algorithms, and applications which quantify shape in high-dimensional data sets. These combine approaches from topological data analysis, applied algebraic geometry, and machine learning.

Background

I completed an MSc in Mathematics & Foundations of Computer Science at the University of Oxford in 2016 and my PhD at the University of Florida in 2020. From 2020 to 2023, I was a Robert and Sara Lumpkins Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics Department at the University of Notre Dame. I’ve been at Florida Atlantic since August 2023.
