On Friday, April 3, 2026, students enrolled in the research-intensive course MAT 4916: Symmetric Structures, taught by Department of Mathematics and Statistics instructor Dr. Daniela Nikolova, participated in the Florida Atlantic University’s 16th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium at Florida Atlantic University.
The annual symposium brought together undergraduate researchers from across disciplines and campuses to showcase their work through engaging poster sessions, visual arts displays, and oral and performing arts presentations. The event highlighted the creativity, innovation, and intellectual curiosity that define excellence in undergraduate scholarship at FAU.
Students from Dr. Nikolova’s course contributed meaningfully to this dynamic academic exchange, presenting research that demonstrated both analytical rigor and original insight. Their participation underscores the vital role of faculty mentorship in fostering student achievement, confidence, and scholarly engagement.
