55th Southeastern International Conference on Combinatorics, Graph Theory, & Computing

Welcome!

On behalf of the Mathematical Sciences Department of Florida Atlantic University, we would like to officially welcome you to the 55th Southeastern International Conference on Combinatorics, Graph Theory, and Computing, March 4-8, 2024.

Before beginning the conference, we would like you to review the following information:

The plenary sessions will be presented in the Student Union. Your Program and Schedule are accurate as of 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, and include abstracts, time and location of almost all of the talks.  Schedule updates will be distributed as needed.

Your registration package will include a name badge. Please wear your badge every day.

Inserted in your plastic name badge holder should be any Banquet Tickets and Guest Tickets to the Thursday night party included in your registration, together with drink tickets for the Monday and Tuesday evening receptions. Please do not lose your tickets. Your Banquet Ticket will provide admission to the Conference Banquet on Wednesday evening, March 6, 2024, which will be held at Maggiano's Little Italy Reseaurant.  Address: 21090 St. Andres Blvd, Boca Raton, Florida  33433;     Phone: (561) 361-8244.  There are 100 seats available for the banquet.     A limited number of Banquet Tickets may still be available, and can be purchased at the registration desk.  Tickets will be collected at the door, and we appreciate your cooperation. 

Please join us for an afternnon excursion on Thursday, March 7, 2024.  This year you have a choice!  Visit the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens or enjoy scenic views and wildlife at the Wakodahatchee Nature Preserve.  Address: 13270 Jog Rd, Delray Beach, FL 33484.   lorida.  Seats are limited.  If you would like to join us, please see Maria Provost at the registration desk for more information.  We also have a limited number of passes for you to visit Spanish River Park and enjoy beach!  Pick up your park/beach passes from Maria at the regsistration table.  If you have already registered for an excursion trip on line, your excursion ticket has been included in your conference bag that you picked up during registration.  It's going to be a beautiful day!  If you feel that there is something missing from your conference bag, please contact one of the registration staff as soon as possible.

Messages for participants may be called in to (561) 297-3340. If you cannot reach someone at this number, try 561-251-2247.  These messages will be posted on a bulletin board near the registration area in the registration area of the Student Union.  Internet access for participants will be available in the computer lab of the Student Union. Furthermore, the Student Union is a wireless environment.  For internet access:

  1. Make sure the wireless is enabled on your device.
  2. Look for available wireless network on your device and join the FAUGuest wireless network.
  3. A window will pop up that will ask for your username and password.
  4. Click on “Request a Login” at the bottom of the screen.
  5. In the box enter your 10-digit cell phone number that can receive text messages (standard text messaging rates apply). Click Send SMS.
  6. You will see a confirmation.
  7. Once you receive the text message enter your 10-digit phone number as your username.
  8. Enter the 6 digit password given to you via the text message you received and log in.
  9. You are now connected to the FAUGuest wireless network. You will be able to connect to the network for up to 72 hours after receiving your login information. If you need to connect after 72 hours you will need to repeat steps 1–7 to log back in. Book Exhibits during the conference are located in Hospitality Center located in room 3 where complimentary coffee is available.  Book exhibits are open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Tuesday through Thursday and 9:00 a.m. to noon Friday.

PARKING

Parking for the 55th SEICCGTC Conference is FREE (Monday-Friday) if you park in LOT #16 located directly in front of the Student Union).  When parking in LOT #16 (Monday-Friday), please park with the front tires of your vehicle touching the
whiteparking stump. Do not park in spots with a red parking stump.  Do not back into a parking spot. Please do not park in metered parking, handicapped parking, fire lanes, or Resident Students' parking spaces.  

To park in any other parking lots/spaces on the Boca Raton Campus of FAU, you will need to obtain an ePermit.  To obtain a temporary ePermit please sign up at "Visitor Login"

By purchasing a temporary ePermit you will be entitled to park in any of our blue lots.  To obtain a temporary ePermit please sign up at  "Visitor Login"

Prices are as follows:      Daily - $5          Weekly $15             Monthly $30

Meters and Metered Lots are available for visitors coming to our campus for short periods of time. You can pay the multi-space meters at different locations around the campus. 

 All meters are enforced 24/7.

Multi-space Meter Rates:  (Cash NOT Accepted);  $2 per hour      (There are NO Refunds)

Internet

Internet access for participants will be available in the computer lab of the Student Union. Further more, the Student Union is a wireless environment. For internet access: Make sure the wireless is enabled on your device.

Look for available wireless network on your device and join the FAUGuest wireless network.

Book Exhibits

Book Exhibits during the conference are located in Hospitality Center located in room 3 where complimentary coffee is available. Book exhibits are open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 9:00 a.m. to noon Friday.

COPY SERVICES

There is a coin-operated copy machine located in the Library.  Library hours are Sunday, March 3, 2024; noon-8:00 pm, Monday-Thursday 7:40 am - 8:00 pm; and Friday 7:40 am to 6:00 pm.  The main copy center, Toshiba, is located on the Breezeway, opposite the Food Court.  The hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.  The Toshiba copy center will provide and copy transparencies for you at $.50 per page for black and white.  Blank transparencies to write on are available at the bookstore.
