About the Conference:  This meeting is part of a series of conferences held yearly, and this year for the first time, the host is the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Florida Atlantic University.  Previously, the meeting has taken place at the University of Lousiana at Lafayette (October 2002), at Loyola University in New Orleans (April 2002), at the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattisburg (April 2001), etc.

Schedule and Abstracts:  Here is a the schedule with a list of the abstracts.  Please let us know if we have scheduled your talk for too early on Friday or too late on Sunday!

For planning purposes we would appreciate if you could let us know, e.g. by filling in this online form , how many people in your party would like to come (there is no charge).

Accommodation:  We recommend early booking as the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show will take place the week before our meeting.  We have made block reservations until October 7 at the following two hotels:

We will try to provide some kind of morning and evening transportation to the hotels.  Nevertheless, car pools will be highly appreciated.  For further accommodation options, a Google search for "Boca Raton Hotels" seems to be efficient.

Support:  We are happy to acknowledge travel support for more than fifteen graduate students and young Ph.D.'s through the National Science Foundation.  We have obtained further support by the Department of Mathematical Sciences in the Charles E. Schmidt College of Science and by Prentice Hall.
