Conference on Abelian Groups and on Constructive Mathematics

in honor of Ray Mines's and Fred Richman's 70th birthdays
May 9-11, 2008, at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton


> Aim:
The goal of this meeting is to bring together researchers from Abelian Groups and Constructive Mathematics, and to celebrate the birthdays of Fred and Ray — two colleagues who have been working in both areas.

> Schedule:
The conference begins on May 9th, a Friday, in the early afternoon, and ends on May 11th, at noon. There will be a picnic at the beach on Friday evening and a banquet on Saturday evening. Please sign up for the banquet on the registration page.

    > Travel:
    Boca Raton (map), located midway between West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale, is served by airports in both those cities and in Miami. Limousine service is available from all airports at rates ranging from $15 to $60. For example, I recently paid $18 for a shared ride from Fort Lauderdale to Boca Raton with Floridalimo (954-561-8888). The Tri-Rail system provides inexpensive rail and bus transportation between the airports and the campus.
