Certificate Program in Actuarial Science

The Department of Mathematical Sciences will begin offering a certificate in actuarial science starting in Fall 2001

The certificate in actuarial science enables students to pursue a course of study relavent to actuarial science. The required curriculum provides students with necessary mathematical foundations of the field and exposes them to practical applications relevant to their chosen area of specialization. Each course must be completed with a grade of at least C-.
