H-O Peitgen receives the German Founder's Award 2006
Berlin (Sep 12, 2006). Tuesday evening the jury of the German Founder's
Award came to a decision in presence of the German minister for
economics and technology. In an award show run by German
Television in Berlin enterprise founder Professor Heinz-Otto Peitgen
received this prestigious award for his MeVis group in the category
"Visionary".

The selection was made out of 1.000 enterprises by an expert team for
the categories "Concept", "Fast-growing startup" and "Visionary". This year it
centered at technologically prominent enterprises focusing on health and security.
The renowned German Founder's Award is assigned since 2002 to
excellent entrepreneurs. Innovative ideas, extraordinary dedication,
positive corporate culture, visionary concepts and social commitment
are criteria considered for the awards.
