Homework: To be assigned in each class. You should try to keep up with them without delay. The best way to learn mathematics is to make your hands dirty by working out the homework problems. There may be tutorials (details to be announced later) to help you better understand the materials in this course. Homework assignment will be also updated online at http://www.math.fau.edu/qian/course/mac2311/assignment.htm

Tests: We will have a quiz at the last 15 minutes of the class, every Friday, except exam weeks. Under no circumstances will make-up quizzes be given. The lowest quiz score will be dropped. Three midterm exams are scheduled on Friday, September 21, October 19 and November 16. A comprehensive final exam will be given in the end of the semester, scheduled on Sunday, December 9, 6:45 -- 9:15 p.m.
