MAA American Mathematics Competitions
Registration for the AMC-10 and AMC-12 is now open.
The Mathematical Association of America hosts several contests for middle and high school students. The AMC-10/12 will take place on the Boca Raton campus on Wednesday, February 24, 2010!
AMC-10 and AMC-12
The main purpose of the AMC 10/12 is to spur interest in mathematics and to develop talent through the excitement of solving challenging problems in a timed multiple-choice format containing problems which can be understood and solved with pre-calculus concepts. There is no cost to participate in the competitions, but we do need students to register ASAP since space in Boca is limited to 50 students. The location of the contest will be announced soon. Check back for updated information.
