Meet Floyd Johnson - Graduate Assistant

While working as a research assistant at the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington D.C. for 10 weeks in the summer of 2019, Floyd Johnson collaborated with several mathematicians, physicists and computer scientists on problems pertaining to quantum information phenomena.  During this time period, he adapted an established quantum key distribution protocol to make it applicable to multiple parties.  This work, co-authored with Dr. Tanner Crowder, Dr. Roderick Davidson, and Dr. Marco Lanzagorta, is currently being compiled to be externally published.  Floyd completed this work as part of the Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program (NREIP).
