Master of Science in Teaching in High School Math or Middle School Math
This is a graduate mathematics degree program with emphasis on issues of teaching. It provides post-baccalaureate education both for certified secondary school teachers and for teachers of mathematics in the middle grades. The program does not provide secondary teaching certification.
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics (or equivalent coursework) with
at least 3.0 GPA (or equivalent),
three letters of recommendation documenting the applicant's
prior work in mathematics,
a verbal-plus-quantitative general GRE score of at least 1000, and approval of the departmental graduate committee.
