51st Southeastern International Conference on Combinatorics, Graph Theory & Computing

Welcome 

On behalf of the Mathematical Sciences Department of Florida Atlantic University, we would like to officially welcome you to the 51st Southeastern International Conference on Combinatorics, Graph Theory, and Computing, March 9-13, 2020.

Before beginning the conference, we would like you to review the following information:

The plenary sessions will be presented in the newly renovated Student Union. Your Program and Schedule are accurate as of noon, TBA, 2020 and includes abstracts, time and location of almost all of the talks.  Schedule updates will be distributed as needed.

Your registration package will include a name badge. Please wear your badge every day.

Inserted in your plastic name badge holder should be any Banquet Tickets and Guest Tickets to the Thursday night party included in your registration, together with drink tickets for the Monday and Tuesday evening receptions. Please do not lose your tickets. Your Banquet Ticket will provide admission to the Conference Banquet on Wednesday evening, March 11, 2020, which will be held at the Delray Sands Resort. Highland Beach, Florida Banquet location: 2809 South Ocean Blvd., Highland Beach, Florida 33487.  Phone:  (561)278-6241.  There are 100 seats available for the banquet.   A limited number of Banquet Tickets may still be available, and can be purchased at the registration desk.  Tickets will be collected at the door, and we appreciate your cooperation. 

Please join us for an afternoon excursion to the Henry Morrison Flagler Museum located in Palm Beach Florida.  Seats are limited to a total of 40, but if you would like to join us, please see Maria Provost at the registration desk for more information.  If you have already registered for the excursion trip on line, your excursion ticket has been included in your conference bag that you picked up during registration.  It's going to be a beautiful day!  If you feel that there is something missing from your conference bag, please contact one of the registration staff as soon as possible.

Messages for participants may be called in to (561) 297-3340. If you cannot reach someone at this number, try 561-251-2247.  These messages will be posted on a bulletin board near the registration area in the Grand Palm Room of the Student Union.  Internet access for participants will be available in the computer lab of the Student Union. Furthermore, the Student Union is a wireless environment.  For internet access and wireless access, the user I.D. is "zzzmath," and the password is TBA.   

Book Exhibits during the conference are located in the Hospitality Center of the Live Oak Pavilion.  Book exhibits are open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Tuesday through Thursday and 9:00 a.m. to noon Friday.

Parking is permitted in Lot 16 adjacent to the Student Union, and in Garage 1.  Please do not park in metered parking, handicapped parking, fire lanes, or Resident Students' parking spaces.  Thursday, March 7, 2019, please park your car in Garage #1, white parking places only  (Please see the FAU map for Lot numbers and garage numbers).

There is a coin-operated copy machine in the Student Union lobby (on the first floor), and there are coin-operated machines located in the Library.  Library hours are 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday- Friday. The main copy center is located on the Breezeway, opposite the Food Court .  The hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  The copy center will provide and copy transparencies for you at $.50 per page for black and white.  Blank transparencies to write on are available at the bookstore.

Food service is available at Chick-N-Grill located in the Breezeway Food Court, Monday-Thursday, (10:30 am-4:00 p.m.) and Friday (10:30 am-3:00 pm); and Wendy’s in the Breezeway Food Court Monday-Thursday (10:30 am to 5:00 pm, Friday, 11:00 am-5:00 pm); Starbucks in the Breezeway Monday-Thursday (7:30 am to 5:00 pm; 7:30-4:00 pm on Friday); Einstein Bros., located in the Breezeway Food Court, Monday-Thursday, (7:30 am-3:00 pm.), Friday (7:30 am-2:00 pm); and at Outtakes.  One Outtakes is located in the Student Union, and one Outtakes is located in the Breezeway Food Court.  Both Outtake Restaurants are open for service, Monday - Thursday, (7:30 am to 5:00 pm.)and Friday, (7:30 am-5:00 pm).   Chick-fil-A, adjacent to the Wimberly Library, is open Monday-Thursday, (11:00 am. to 5:00 pm.) and Friday, (11:00 am-5:00 pm.).

Florida Atlantic University is a totally Smoke Free Campus, and smoking is not permitted anywhere on the Florida Atlantic University Campus.

The Conference Photograph will be taken at 10:30 am on Wednesday, March 11, directly behind the Student Union.
