The Center for Cryptology and Information Security
Established in 2003, the center is focused on innovative and cutting-edge research in cryptology and other related areas of information security. The center trains research students and information technology professionals, and promotes collaboration with information technology industries within the region and with federal and state government departments in the areas of information security.
Math Science
Partnership Institute
A grant from the National Science Foundation in conjunction with Florida Atlantic University and the Broward County Schools gives participants an opportunity to take part in summer training and to take part in a program leading to a master's degree in middle school mathematics.
Courses offer hands-on learning experiences that enhance the middle school curriculum, with special emphasis on technology.
Journals
Forum Geometricorum
A freely accessible electronic journal on classical euclidean geometry and related areas, this journal aims at bringing to a wide, international readership the beauty, elegance, and usefulness of elementary geometry, in research and in teaching. The journal is freely downloadable in postscript and pdf formats, and focuses on concrete but challenging problems of euclidean geometry and related areas, that can be conducted by mathematicians, professional and amateur alike.
