  The Center for Cryptology and Information Security (CCIS) is a FAU College of Science center dedicated to original, cutting-edge research in cryptology and related areas of information security. The center is also dedicated to education and training of research students and information technology professionals. The center seeks and promotes collaboration with information technology industries of our region, and with federal and state government departments in the areas of information security. CCIS was established in the Fall of 2003 with funding provided by a Federal Earmark, and is founded on the unique strengths of cryptology specialists in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at FAU. The center is affiliated with the InternetCoast Institute (ICI).

New website launched 12/12/2006
Welcome to the new home of the Center for Cryptology and Information Security. We are still making the transition to the new website, but several new features are currently available in the meanwhile. An updated photo gallery is now available, as are a list of publications and areas of ongoing research.
