Master of Science in Teaching  (Mathematics)

Entrance requirement:  Bachelor's degree with major in mathematics.
Applicants without a mathematics degree must have taken a substantial amount of upper division mathematics, and will be required to complete MAS 4301 Modern Algebra and  MAA 4200 Modern Analysis if these or their equivalents have not been taken.

Degree requirement: Completion of the MST degree in mathematics requires (i) 24 credits of mathematics courses among the courses listed below and (ii) 6 credits of education courses at the 4000 level or above. Candidates may also choose to write a 6-credit thesis on a topics of mathematics in lieu of coursework.
