Methods

 

Homework:	Assigned twice per week; some problems will be graded
Computer:	Extra homework points for assignments done on on a computer algebra system (of your choice, e. g.  Maple, MuPAD,  Scientific Workplace)
Quizzes:	Every Friday
Midterm tests:	First Test on Wed. Feb. 16, the Second Test on Fri., March 24, the Third Test on Wed., April 19.
Final exam:	Comprehensive.  It is scheduled for Sunday, April 30, 6:45-9:15 p.m. in GCS 102

Grades

 

Homework:	1/6
Quizzes:	Ten best count for 1/6
Midterm Tests:	All together count for 1/3, the best test counts twice as much as each of the other two.
Final Exam:	1/3

Tutorials

You may attend the tutorial sessions offered by Ellie Pascaleva in SE 299 L on Tuesday, 10-12 a. m., Wednesday 1 - 3 p.m. and Thursday, 1 - 3 p.m. Further Tutorial Sessions:  Monday, 12-1 p. m in SE 215 and Wednesday, 11-12 a.m. in SE 299L by Ms. Cooper.
