The course will take place Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 4:00 - 4:50 p.m. in FLH 316.  The following information may be helpful for participants of my courses.

Chapter 12:         Polar Coordinates, in particular
Chapter 13,14:    Geometry in 2 and 3 dimensions
Chapter 15:         Derivative in  n -space
Chapter 16:         Integral in  n -space
Chapter 17:         Integral theorems

Methods

 

Homework:	Assigned twice per week; some problems will be graded. Here are the current homework assignments.
Computer:	Extra homework points for assignments done on on a computer algebra system (of your choice, e. g.  Maple, MuPAD,  Scientific Workplace)
Quizzes:	Every Friday
Midterm tests:	There are two midterm tests, the second exam is scheduled for Wednesday, April 4, 2001.
Final exam:	Comprehensive.  The final exam is scheduled for Friday, April 27, 4:00 - 6:30 p.m. in FLH 316.

Quizzes:	Ten best count for 1/6
Midterm Tests:	All together count for 1/3
Final Exam:	1/3
