- Fact: A matrix is diagonalizable EXACTLY IF IT'S MINIMAL POLYNOMIAL HAS NO REPEATED ROOTS.
- Extra credit assignment due by Dec 5: 3.6 problems 1,2,3,4 do NOT worry about the spectral radius. Do find the transition matrix, minimal polynomial, and steady state distribution. Show your work.
- The final is Monday Dec 5 in the usual room from 7:45 AM- 10:15 AM . Here is a sample problem on determinants and Cramer's rule. For the rest expect questions from each of the 6 tests.
