Office hours: MWF 1:15 to 2:00 p.m. in SE 286 or by appointment. (I will usually be available from 4:40 to 5:00 p.m. on MWF also.) I usually answer e-mail quickly.
There is a help lab in SE 201, MWF 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., T 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., R 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

More explicitly, we will mostly follow the Broad focus syllabus suggested on page xxiii:
Sections 1-14, 17-20, 22-23, 31-35, 39-42, 43-49.
Homework: See the
guidelines. Also read pages xvii-xix of the text.
Do two or three hours of homework per lecture hour for this class.

Professor Lewin's
Survival Guide for Students Taking University Courses in Mathematics. It was written for students just beginning university,
but may help students at any level.
